Today I randomly re-discovered this photo.

This image was part of my failed thesis project. I haven't looked at any of my work for months, mostly because I haven't wanted to. So seeing this photo brought on kind of a strong emotional reaction. I love it. I think this image is beautiful. I don't know what it 'means' or what sort of 'artist statement' I would write about it. But I think it is beautiful.

Going to art school made me do things that were really hard, that I never would've done otherwise, that I am proud of (ish). It just kinda sucks that going to art school also made me quit art.
